Devaamo is organizing a training on Git revision control and source code management system by popular demand.
Instructor: Otto Kekäläinen, Seravo Oy
The session will cover all the basic things about Git that are essential to understand it. After the training attendees can use basic features of Git and have a much easier time to learn more about Git on their own. The content is in particular meant to people who have experience of other version control systems, like CVS or SVN, but who find Git a bit difficult to understand at times. The session will also cover best practices in real life situations, use of Github and other git-based tools.

It would be beneficial to bring your own laptops to the training session as there will be opportunities for hands-on tasks to familiarize with Git more efficiently.
