National

Tekes and COSS are cooperating to develop the open source research and business. Joint projects: Verso open source business programme, OSSI and ServOSS.



Ubiquitous Computing Cluster Programme and Digibusiness cluster are COSS’s stategic partners.

 

Open source region Häme is a project aiming to create open source business for the Häme region. The project is being carried out by the Häme Centre of Expertise (at Technology Centre Innopark Ltd.).

BIOS – Business in Open Source – is a regional project being carried out by Vaasa Polytechnic.

COSS also cooperates with the regional open source projects in Finland – for example, in Vaasa, Seinäjoki, Kuopio, Joensuu, Turku, and Oulu. In addition, COSS works in collaboration with the Finnish open source user groups, such as FLUG and Linux-Aktivaattori.

 

International

COSS is a founding member of OpenNordic, the Nordic network of open source centers. In addition COSS collaborates e.g. with the followin open source organisation

 

NOiV (Netherlands in Open Connection) informs and advises the Dutch public sector about the possibilities of open source software and stimulates the use of open source software in their information systems.

 

Berlios provides support for different interest groups in the area of Open Source Software (OSS)
