Openmind goes OKFestival!

Openmind has been almost a decade THE conference in Finland about business, companies and tools around open source. This year we are bringing our content, community and people to meet other stakeholders of open world at the OKFestival’s Open Source Software topic stream.

Openmind 2012 covers various open source topics such as open procurement, best open source practices and fresh showcases, where open source has made a difference. We will hear about the importance of software freedom and threats to openess and general purpose computing that we are currently facing. We also have a session for future of mobile – what role open source software plays there?

Key sepakers include Karsten Gerloff (President, Free Software Foundation), Gerry Gavigan (Chair, Open Source Consortium) and Jussi Hurmola (CEO, Jolla). Altogether we will have four different open source sessions with twelve topics and speakers.
